Dreamweaver's Huipil: Black
From the coast of Oaxaca, Mexico, 60 indigenous women spin their own cotton and weave on the back-strap loom ancient designs. The result is this lovely white summer dream. A huipile, or blouse, woven in panels and sewn together, hand-stitched at the neck . . . this cool, refreshing tunic is striking with tall graphic stripes. Tonal designs throughout with black accents. The essence of simplicity and understatement.
Made in Mexico.
