Natural Indigo Silk Scarf: Chevron
Meticulously hand-block printed by master crafts women using an age-old specialized indigo clay resist (a.k.a. Dabu) technique wherein wet clay is applied to the fabric by wooden blocks, dried and then dyed in a natural indigo vat to get a rich indigo blue color. The fabric is dried and washed to remove the clay paste and excess dye giving rich, vibrant white patterns.
