In the remote mountain villages of Nagaland in far Northeast India, Naga native Tiala Neufeld has returned to reinvigorate an almost extinct weaving tradition among the tribal people there. In a new collaborative effort with ibu Movement, Tiala is designing with our creative team and re-introducing the natural dyeing of cotton, the cultural language of cloth that was her birthright. Each tribe carries potent images in its weaving, which are carried forward in styles made exclusively for ibu. We are so excited about this project! This piece is so unique and storied, you will want to wear it everywhere. A lovely weight, fluid but strong.
Made in India.
